Roots and Branches

I began painting this picture during worship at Bridgeway Church in Denver, Colorado. I saw that the pattern of the roots and the pattern of the branches were similar. It was almost like a mirror image. As I painted the tree, it looked like a normal tree with green leaves and fruit. However, God had other plans with this painting. After worship, He had me begin to lift the green leaves off and draw heart shaped leaves. The colors had to be brighter and more vibrant than what I had at first...

I painted this at an End-time Handmaidens Conference in 2019. The focus was praying for our state and country. The picture that I was given to paint for this conference was that of an eagle in full dive coming through a portal from heaven with a gavel in it’s talons. At the bottom of the picture was an intercessor with his hand raised toward heaven. The Lord showed me that this intercessor represented two things: 1. The Lion, The Lamb

I painted this at a conference in Denver, CO. When I was painting on the Lion/Lamb, I was impressed by God to see Him differently. We tend to categorize God in so many ways. For example, I saw God as the Lion of Judah. In another situation, I saw Him as the Lamb of God. He said to me, “I am the one who can be the Lion AND the Lamb at the same time and in the same situation. I am not an either/or but an and & both.” Wow, God! He is such a multidimensional God!...

On the Winds of Hope

"On the Winds of Hope" was birthed out of a storm that surrounded my life. The Lord had me start this painting as a way to express my inner turmoil, my determination to stay the course and the strength I gained through His healing, grace and love. My first focus was to paint the clouds. The intensity of the storm quickly built into billowing clouds of confusion, death and a loss of direction.
