King's-Way by Lynda Finch

The King’s Way...The Esther Walk

The King’s Way was painted at an Esther Conference in Denver, Colorado.  The Lord began to show me how Esther’s walk was the way of the Cross. She had to be willing to lay her life down for the sake of her people...

Roots-and-Branches by Lynda Finch

Roots and Branches

I began painting this picture during worship at Bridgeway Church in Denver, Colorado. I saw that the pattern of the roots and the pattern of the branches were similar. It was almost like a mirror image. As I painted the tree, it looked like a normal tree with green leaves and fruit. However, God had other plans with this painting. After worship, He had me begin to lift the green leaves off and draw heart shaped leaves. The colors had to be brighter and more vibrant than what I had at first...

Justice by Lynda Finch

Justice

I painted this at an End-time Handmaidens Conference in 2019.  The focus was praying for our state and country. The picture that I was given to paint for this conference was that of an eagle in full dive coming through a portal from heaven with a gavel in it’s talons. At the bottom of the picture was an intercessor with his hand raised toward heaven. The Lord showed me that this intercessor represented two things: 1.    Prayers from intercessors who have prayed corporately (the power of many) for year...

Come-Up-Here by Lynda Finch

Come Up Here

Revelation 4:1 The Throne Room of Heaven  1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” (NKJV) Revelation 22:17   17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

The Lion-The Lamb by Lynda Finch

The Lion, The Lamb

I painted this at a conference in Denver, CO. When I was painting on the Lion/Lamb, I was impressed by God to see Him differently. We tend to categorize God in so many ways. For example, I saw God as the Lion of Judah. In another situation, I saw Him as the Lamb of God. He said to me, “I am the one who can be the Lion AND the Lamb at the same time and in the same situation. I am not an either/or but an and & both.” Wow, God! He is such a multidimensional God!...

Painting and Word by Lynne Barletta and Lynda Finch

As we created this painting together, the Lord began to speak powerfully concerning a “Break Out” dawning on the Body of Christ. “The ocean floor speaks of the hard circumstances...

7 Fold Spirit by Lynda Finch

7 Fold Spirit

Isa. 11: 2 The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. Rev. 1:4 John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne… Rev. 4:5 And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices...

on-the-winds-of-hope by Lynda Finch

On the Winds of Hope

"On the Winds of Hope" was birthed out of a storm that surrounded my life. The Lord had me start this painting as a way to express my inner turmoil, my determination to stay the course and the strength I gained through His healing, grace and love. My first focus was to paint the clouds. The intensity of the storm quickly built into billowing clouds of confusion, death and a loss of direction. The painting was dark and hopeless, as the winds in the storm seemed to toss me to and fro...

What-Do-You-See by Lynda Finch

What Do You See?

Jeremiah 1:11,12 11 The word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see the branch of an almond tree.” 12 Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am [actively] watching over My word to fulfill it.” Interesting footnote: a.

  1. Jeremiah 1:11 The almond tree was known as the “awake tree” because it was the first tree to bud in the new year...

Nurtured and Safe

Original: Pencil on Multi-Media Paper

8 x 10 (Prints Available)

We all long for the feeling of being safe. In our mothers arms at birth we feel that love and safety. When the storms of life come and try to darken our world we depend on our parents to keep us safe from harm. As we grow we learn to lean on God and His great mercy to guide, protect and nurture us. If we will allow Him to do so, He will fight on our behalf and we will be protected always!...

While traveling to South Africa and while live painting during a worship conference the Lord showed me a horse with many colors. The wild mane and free spirit it signified brought an excitement in my own spirit as I painted.  The Lord spoke to me and said Release your inner wildness. It’s ok to be who you are! Don’t hold back and don’t relent as I call you forward! Nothing can hold...

Learning to Fly

Original: Acrylic on Canvas

11 x 14 (Prints Available)

This painting was painted as a reminder of learning to fly and becoming my true self. As I grow and allow God to heal the places where I have been hurt and I let go of the past, I am learning to fly! God wants you to be healed and live in complete freedom.

We have to let go of past hurts, forgive when needed and focus on the good in life so we can learn to fly!...

Stop and Smell the Flowers by Sherri Weeks

Stop

Original: Acrylic on Canvas

10 x 10 (Prints Available)

“Stop and smell the roses” is an idiom that means to relax; to take time out of one's busy schedule to enjoy or appreciate the beauty of life. Whether you think of “stopping to smell the roses” as a metaphor, or an actual act of admiring roses, the benefit is the same.

We should all take time to stop and let go of the busyness that we encounter in our world...

Out of the Ashes you will rise! In some dark seasons of our lives, it may not look like there is any way out. God says “I am Here!” and I will bring you help and you will rise out of the ashes!

Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope.  Ps 16:9

One of my favorite things is being on or near water and out in nature. This brings me back to God and a stillness and peace within my spirit. In this painting the boats sit upon the still water that appears like glass. The boats are resting, sails down in a place of waiting...

Flowers of the Field

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.”  Is. 40:8

While painting these beauties I was playing with some new alcohol ink and how it flows with the acrylic. Flowers began to form and I loved the way they were subtle yet beautiful. I think that’s the place were God speaks to us in the quiet stillness of His beauty. He does not usually speak in a big loud voice...

Within Oneself

At tome there is so much going on around us that we can internalize things that can cause us to stumble and sometimes leaving us imprisoned with our own thoughts. They can be deafening and cause us to feel like we are drowning. As I was painting, a white light began to form around the face like God’s Holy Spirit had penetrated through and began breaking things off and clearing the way for truth...

The definition of a Paradigm is a system of concepts, values, and practices that constitutes a way of viewing reality. The definition of a paradigm is a widely accepted example, belief or concept.

Our thoughts and beliefs can be a stumbling block in our life and growth. I know I struggle with the way I look and not being good enough. I judge..
